ArcBox Introduced to the US Market at RE+ Las Vegas

ArcBox, the innovative solar fire safety enclosure will be showcased in the United States for the first time at RE+ Las Vegas, one of North America’s largest renewable energy events.

Visitors to the exhibition will be able to see ArcBox on the stand of Exel Solar W16049, a leading solar wholesaler serving the US market. Exel Solar US is the US branch of Exel Solar, one of Mexico’s largest solar distributors, supporting EPCs, installers and developers across commercial and residential solar projects throughout the region.

In the United States, Rapid Shutdown Devices (RSDs) are recommended on solar installations, helping to reduce voltage levels during emergency situations. ArcBox complements these devices by providing containment around the DC connectors helping to mitigate the consequences of potential electrical faults.

The showcase marks an important milestone in ArcBox’s international growth, introducing the product to a market where solar deployment continues to accelerate and where solar fires are attracting greater attention and concerns around system safety are becoming increasingly important.

Jamie Berryman, Chief Sales Officer at ArcBox said:

“As solar installations continue to grow across North America, so does the need to focus on safety and risk mitigation. Having attended RE+ Philadelphia where ArcBox received strong interest and positive feedback, we’re delighted to be showcasing ArcBox for the first time on a stand with Excel Solar at RE+ Las Vegas. The feedback we’ve received from the industry has been extremely encouraging, and we look forward to demonstrating how ArcBox can provide an additional layer of protection for residential and commercial solar installations.”
